SECRET WARS FINALLY ARRIVES IN THE USA....

After taking Europe by storm, Secret Wars is finally invading stateside....Starting off with a ten day tour of NYC.

Team UK will go head to head with Team USA!....Winner takes all!

Secret Wars = Live illustration battle, where artists compete with black markers for 90 mins - Painting freestyle, no pencils or sketches allowed...The winner is then decided by the crowd and 2 guest judges.

Monorex will also be showcasing a small exhibition @ Gallery Bar, where “one off” prints & and canvases will be available @ affordable prices!

June 12th - Monorex & team UK arrive in NYC
June 13th – In the studio
June 14th – Studio / Prep for show / Reebok in store custom @ Michael k’s (Soho)
June 15th – Private battle in Manhattan office (Zoo York / Complex magazine) - Please RSVP “ZOO YORK X SECRET WARS” for a chance to come along!
June 16th - Gallery Bar Exhibition (Monorex full colour group show)
June 17th - Public Assembly (Brooklyn) - Main Secret Wars Battle, USA vs. ENGLAND
June 18th - Secret Event
June 19th – Team battle against USA & CANADA @ Redbull space (7pm – 10pm) + afterparty!
June 20th - Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival
June 21st – Painting @ 5pointz

Monorex 5th Birthday Exhibition - NYC

While out in NYC, we are kicking it all off with a small group featuring a handful of exciting artists behind the ever growing brand Monorex!

Our 2nd Secret Wars NYC Team Search this past Saturday was a BLAST! Despite the fact upon my arrival there was a surprise sample sale comprised of boxes of shoes a mile long right in front of the gates where we were supposed to hold the battle! Big Ups to the gentlemen over @ Transit who were kind enough to let us hold the search directly on their windows out in front. Word. Much Respect goes out to Steve and Richie who killed it!!! We attracted folks of all ages and all in all, I'm hoping everyone who passed by got a good dose of the Secret Wars virus and will come support us at all our upcoming events in NYC! UK.. we're ready : - ) Bring it on!!! ; - )
